Food blogging is where I cut my teeth with writing and content.
I started and grew my first food blog, EatsLeeds.co.uk, from the ground up, learning everything as I went (and it was a steep learning curve).
I used to share healthy vegetarian recipes, gluten free bakes, running tips, local restaurant and event reccomendations, and foodie chit chat (but honestly, it was mostly general chit chat). I didn’t have a focus and I didn’t have a purpose.
The thing that I really excel at and enjoy (namely writing and blogging), could be used to help other bloggers and businesses, way more effectively than on my little blog, which is why I started offering blogging and content writing services (and how ZoePickburn.com came about).
Now the core of my business is with working with foodie businesses to write content (like blog posts, articles and website pages) that can help them to:
- Be seen (on social media)
- Get found (via search engines)
- Engage their ideal audience (with speaks-to-me content)
- Build authority in their sector (by inspiring trust)
and, ultimately, to attract (and convert) more customers.
You can focus on the important parts of your business (you know, like actually running it), whilst I work on writing the words that’ll persuade your ideal customers to buy from you.
I offer blogging services to food and lifestyle businesses, from one-off posts, to long-term content strategies.
I research your industry, your brand and your ideal customer, to develop a food blogging content strategy that fits your tone, voice and style. I also get to understand the specific chellenges your customers face, and develop a content strategy that focuses on solving those problems.
I then execute on that strategy by researching, writing + producing polished content for your blog or website.
I’m also able to advise on other aspects of digital marketing, from SEO to WordPress maintenance, and social media to food photography.
