Recipe Printed in the Wharfedale Observer

I approached local news outlet The Wharfedale Observer with a proposal to develop an original recipe for the Christmas season, as a joint venture as part of a news piece about my nomination for the UK Blog Awards.

As the paper is a free publication, stories inside have to be engaging, to encourage higher circulation (enabling the publishers to generate higher ad revenue). The recipe had to entice people to pick up a paper (and to want to pick up the next issue too).

The editors of the paper really liked the idea. I developed a free-from recipe with a Christmas theme: Rum & Orange Chocolate Truffles, and shot high-quality, original photography as well.
